Sauna Specification Guide for a Complete B2B RFQ

This sauna specification guide helps distributors, wellness brands and project buyers organize the inputs needed for a model review. It does not publish one universal specification. Instead, it separates buyer requirements, site facts, current model evidence and the approvals that must be recorded before quotation.

Use the checklist to expose unknowns early. Dimensions, materials, heater or emitter route, electrical values, documentation, packaging and schedule remain tied to the selected model and destination.

01 · Buyer brief

Define the buyer, market, use and decision stage before selecting a cabin.

Begin with the organization buying the sauna and the decision it needs to make. A distributor evaluating a repeatable range, a private-label brand developing a program and a commercial project coordinating one venue will ask different questions. State the destination market, intended sales or use setting, project stage, expected quantity and the people responsible for product, site and commercial approval.

Describe intended users and supervision without inventing a performance or capacity target. Identify whether the brief is for indoor or outdoor placement and whether the buyer is open to more than one heat route or body form. A clear brief prevents a visually similar cabin from being treated as an equivalent specification.

This sauna specification guide starts with the household use class, destination, placement and capacity target so the product route remains comparable.

02 · Product route

Use this sauna specification guide to separate three product decisions.

Placement

Record indoor or outdoor location, base, weather exposure, surrounding construction, drainage context and access for cleaning or service.

Cabin and entry

Describe preferred form, door and glazing direction, bench expectations, circulation space and any accessibility consideration.

Heating route

State whether the enquiry requires a traditional heater, infrared emitters or a route still open for model review. Do not infer the answer from the image.

03 · Dimensions and access

Record space, delivery and assembly constraints before approving dimensions.

Provide the available footprint, maximum height, door swing limits and required circulation area. Show nearby walls, glazing, doors, drainage points, electrical locations and the route for future service. Add the delivery path from unloading to the final position, including doorway, corridor, turn, lift and floor-protection constraints.

Ask for the current model drawing, external dimensions, internal arrangement, packed information and assembly method where available. If the cabin is delivered in sections, identify who assembles it and what site preparation is required. The project designer should verify fit against the actual building and the approved drawing.

Use the sauna specification guide to record room dimensions, access, delivery path and assembly responsibility against the approved drawing.

04 · Heat and electrical schedule

Keep the heat system, controls and site supply in one specification.

The specification should name the heating route, applicable heater or emitter set, control arrangement and supplied electrical information for the selected model. The buyer should provide destination power details and local approval requirements. Values from another model or market should never be copied into the record.

Supplier confirmation

  • Named model and heat-system configuration
  • Applicable control and component information
  • Connection points and current installation documents
  • Included items and explicit exclusions
  • Configuration-specific labels and manuals

Site confirmation

  • Available voltage, phase and frequency
  • Qualified electrical design and connection responsibility
  • Isolation, protection and cable decisions
  • Ventilation context and component clearances
  • Local inspection or authority acceptance

The sauna specification guide should identify voltage, frequency, protection, isolation and qualified connection responsibility before order confirmation.

05 · Materials and finish

Describe every visible finish and every material field that affects approval.

List the documented cabin materials, interior and exterior finish direction, glazing, door hardware, bench surfaces and visible controls. For outdoor routes, ask how the selected materials, treatment and roof or weather details relate to the intended exposure. Avoid broad claims that one wood, finish or cabin construction applies to every model.

For OEM work, separate base-model facts from requested changes. Attach a finish reference or branding brief, then ask Bropool to record feasibility, sample needs, approval stages and any effect on documentation or packaging. Only the approved revision should reach the quotation and production record.

06 · Evidence by module

Match each visual to a product, detail or manufacturing question.

The full cabin supports form and placement discussion. The control image belongs to the component and interface review. The factory image belongs to the manufacturing and handoff review. None of these images supplies missing dimensions, electrical values, material grades or destination approvals.

07 · Documents and delivery

Define the document set, packaging and handover needs before quotation.

State which drawings, manuals, labels, packing information or destination records the buyer needs and why. Bropool should confirm which current files apply to the selected model and configuration. A generic certificate, manual or drawing should not be presented as proof for a different unit or market.

Record packaging needs, unloading responsibility, delivery access, assembly, connection, commissioning and acceptance ownership. The handover file should link the delivered model and serial or order reference to the approved drawing, quotation, manuals and service route. This gives the operator a controlled source when questions arise later.

A completed sauna specification guide gives the operator a controlled link between the delivered model, manuals, drawings and service route.

Buyer FAQ

Questions buyers should resolve before approval

Answers remain tied to the selected model, destination, current documents and written commercial scope.

Is this sauna specification guide a specification for every Bropool model?

No. It is a procurement framework. Final dimensions, materials, heat system, electrical values, components and documents come from the selected current model and configuration.

What should be fixed before requesting a sauna quotation?

Fix the destination, placement, use context, available space, delivery limits, preferred heat route, site supply, required documents, quantity and decision stage where known.

Can a reference image be used as the approved specification?

No. Use it to communicate visual direction. The approved model, drawing, material record, component information and written quotation control the supplied scope.

Who confirms site electrical and installation requirements?

Bropool provides applicable product information. Qualified local parties remain responsible for site design, protection, connection, installation and approval unless a written agreement assigns a specific task.

How should OEM changes be recorded?

Separate the base model from requested changes, assign revision and approval owners, confirm feasibility and samples where needed, and carry only the approved revision into the quotation.

Which documents should a buyer request?

Request only documents needed for the selected model, destination and decision, such as current drawings, installation or user information, labels, packing information and applicable compliance records.

RFQ next step

Send a completed sauna RFQ instead of a loose reference image.

Use the checklist to identify fixed requirements, preferences and open fields. Bropool can then review the current model route and return a model-specific quotation scope.
