Privacy and business enquiries
Bropool Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal and project information can enter the Bropool website, why it is used, how it moves through an enquiry or support request, and the choices available to the person who supplied it.
Collection
Information you choose to provide
When you contact Bropool, the information normally begins with what you type, attach or send. That can include your name, business email, company, role, phone or WhatsApp number, destination market and preferred contact route. A quotation request may also contain product interests, model references, estimated quantity, intended application, site conditions, branding needs, target timing and questions about documentation.
Support messages can contain an order or model reference, installation context, fault description, photographs, video or files. Please send only material that is relevant to the request and that you are authorised to share. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal records in a website enquiry.
- Contact details identify the person and business asking for a response.
- Project details help route the question to the appropriate product or commercial review.
- Files and media should be limited to information needed to understand the project or support issue.
Website use
Information created during a website visit
A visit can create technical records such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested page, date and time, referral information, and security or error logs. These records can be generated by the systems that deliver and protect the website. They help pages load, protect enquiry routes, diagnose faults and maintain service reliability.
Some browser technologies are required for a requested feature to work. Optional analytics, marketing or chat technologies require a separate decision about whether they are used and what controls apply. The Cookie Policy explains these categories and how browser choices affect them. This privacy policy focuses on the information lifecycle after data is received.
Purpose
How Bropool uses the information
Bropool uses information to understand and answer the action you requested. For a buyer, this may mean clarifying the product family, intended market, quantity, configuration, site services, OEM scope or documents needed before a quotation can be prepared. For support, it may mean identifying the product record, reproducing a reported issue and asking for the minimum additional information needed to review it.
Information may also be used to protect the website and enquiry channels, prevent abuse, keep a traceable business conversation, correct inaccurate contact details, and meet recordkeeping duties that apply to an actual transaction. Bropool does not treat an enquiry as permission to publish the sender's name, company information, photographs or project details.
Access
How information is handled and shared
Access should follow the work required to answer the request. Relevant sales, product, engineering, documentation, logistics or support personnel may need different parts of an enquiry. Website delivery, security and business communications can also depend on technical services that process information while performing those functions. Access does not turn a submitted product idea, drawing or contact list into public website content.
Information may be disclosed when reasonably required to protect people or systems, respond to a valid legal request, or establish and administer a transaction. Bropool does not list a specific service company here unless its role has been confirmed for the service being used. If another party will receive project material for a distinct purpose, the practical scope should be made clear in the related conversation.
Lifecycle
Retention, correction and deletion
Information is kept for as long as it remains reasonably needed for the enquiry, support request, security record, transaction history or applicable recordkeeping duty. The period can differ because an unanswered catalogue question, an active quotation, a completed order and a security log serve different purposes. This policy therefore does not assign one fixed period to every record.
When information is no longer required for its purpose, it can be deleted, anonymised or separated from routine use, subject to technical backup cycles and records that must remain available for an ongoing transaction or duty. You may ask Bropool to correct contact or project information, stop using an outdated contact route, or review a deletion request. Include enough context to locate the relevant conversation without sending unnecessary new personal data.
Protection
Security and international enquiries
Bropool uses organisational and technical measures intended to reduce unauthorised access, loss, alteration and disclosure. No website, email route or internet transmission can be guaranteed secure in every circumstance. Buyers should avoid sending confidential design packages until the receiving contact and appropriate transfer method have been confirmed.
Bropool serves business buyers in more than one market. A message may therefore be reviewed or answered from a place different from the sender's location. When cross-border handling is relevant, Bropool should limit the information to the business purpose and use an appropriate route for the material involved. A buyer can ask where to send sensitive project files before transmitting them.
Questions and next steps
Ask about your information
To ask what information is connected to your enquiry, request a correction, raise a privacy concern or discuss deletion, contact Bropool with your name, company, the contact route used and the approximate date of the conversation. A response may require reasonable checks before information is disclosed or changed.
