A useful cold plunge quotation checklist starts with the scope behind the price. Put each supplier’s offer against the same tub configuration, cooling system, accessory list, delivery point and service responsibilities. Mark anything unpriced or unresolved before deciding which offer costs less.

This guide is for distributors, private-label buyers and project teams who already have a shortlist and are comparing written quotations. If you still need to define the product and site requirements, start with the Cold Plunge Buyer Specification Guide.

Scope: The checklist is a procurement method, not a statement that every Bropool model includes the components listed below. Product examples refer to current Bropool pages reviewed on 1 October 2026. Prices in the calculation are fictional teaching figures. Confirm equipment, electrical ratings, documents, availability and commercial terms in the model-specific quotation.

Cold plunge quotation checklist: record more than “included”

Create one comparison column per offer. For each line, enter the exact item or document reference and one of four statuses: included, priced option, buyer-supplied, or unresolved. Do not turn a blank field into “included” or a missing cost into zero.

Keep the quote number, revision date, currency, quantity and validity period at the top of the comparison. A later email that changes a component should lead to a revised quotation, not an assumption that everyone remembers the change.

Resolve component and model differences first

Name the cooling route on the quotation

The Bropool cold plunge range distinguishes external chillers, integrated cooling and direct-cooling ice-making systems. An offer described only as “cold plunge with cooling” leaves the package unclear. Ask for the route and equipment identity in writing, then compare like-for-like configurations.

For example, the CT-20 product page describes an integrated cooling enclosure but still calls for confirmation of performance, electrical data and standard supply. Treat those open items as quotation questions. Do not fill them in using a specification from another model.

Separate what an image shows from what the price buys

The CT-24 family has different exterior and step configurations. Its product page also flags a drawing-width discrepancy for confirmation. A clear quote should identify the selected variant and approved drawing, rather than leave the buyer to choose between conflicting dimensions.

Bropool’s approved CT-24-1 product rendering illustrates the visible step and enclosure arrangement. It is not an installed-customer photograph or proof that the pictured accessories are included.

Send a short exception list: “Please identify the supplied step, cover, connection kit and approved drawing revision. Show the price of each excluded item required for our agreed configuration.” Keep this list separate from optional upgrades you do not need.

Ask for evidence that can actually be compared

A horsepower label or a minimum-temperature claim is not enough to compare two quoted systems. Request the rated data and any available test record for the exact package under stated conditions. If comparable evidence is unavailable, mark performance as unresolved. Do not rank the offers on an assumed cooling time.

For documents, use Bropool’s product compliance and documentation page as a starting point, then request the model-specific match. If a supplier cites an Intertek mark, the official Intertek product directories provide a verification route. A logo on a sales sheet should not replace matching the listed product and electrical configuration. This checklist does not claim that every pictured tub or complete system holds a particular certification.

Compare costs on the same basis

Choose one boundary for the comparison, such as the agreed equipment package delivered to a named receiving point. Add required omitted items and the costs needed to reach that same point. Keep installation, local works and operating expenses outside the total unless both offers include the same scope.

Comparable package cost = quoted package price + required omitted items + agreed costs to the common delivery point.

The example below uses fictional USD amounts for one unit. It assumes both offers can supply the same agreed equipment and that the stated delivery allowances cover the same transport scope. Taxes, duties, installation and operating costs are excluded from both totals. This is arithmetic, not a Bropool price, freight estimate or claim that the packages perform equally.

Comparison line, USD per unitOffer AOffer B
Quoted package$2,000$2,450
Required cooling equipment omitted from package$400$0 — included
Required connection/accessory kit$150$0 — included
Allowance to the same delivery point$250$250
Comparable total for this limited scope$2,800$2,700

Offer A starts $450 lower but finishes $100 higher within the example’s boundary. If its cooling equipment were unpriced, the result would be incomplete, not $2,400. Resolve missing amounts before treating a total as comparable.

For cross-border orders, record the agreed trade rule, version and named place. ICC explains that Incoterms® rules clarify delivery tasks, costs and risks between sellers and buyers. Use the agreed term alongside the actual freight and receiving scope. Do not assume two quotes reach the same place simply because both mention shipping.

Close the gaps before approval

Finish with a discrepancy register, not just a preferred supplier name. For each open item, record the quotation reference, the missing or conflicting information, who must answer, and the revised document that closes it. A verbal answer can guide discussion, but ask for the agreed scope to appear in the approval file.

  1. Freeze the configuration. Match the model, variant, drawing, equipment list and electrical version.
  2. Resolve exclusions. Separate required buyer-supplied items from optional upgrades. Give each required item an owner and a cost.
  3. Agree the acceptance evidence. Specify which drawings, labels, manuals, packing details and test records must be supplied and reviewed. Do not assume an inspection service or test is included.
  4. Confirm service responsibilities. Record warranty coverage, exclusions, claim information, parts delivery and who handles local labor. Do not infer a warranty duration from another product.
  5. Control the final revision. Keep the accepted quotation, clarification list and supporting documents together. Reopen affected checks if equipment or scope changes.

A clarification request you can adapt:
Please revise quotation [reference/date] for [model/variant/quantity]. Confirm the included cooling equipment, connection kit, water-care components and accessories. Identify each required exclusion and its price, match the approved drawing and electrical documents, and state the delivery point and service responsibilities. Please mark any unanswered item as unresolved.
